Hayden Paddon acquires Historic i20 WRC Car from Rally Argentina Victory

In a thrilling turn of events, New Zealand rally driver and current European Rally Champion, Hayden Paddon has officially acquired the historic Hyundai i20 WRC car that led him to victory at the 2016 Rally Argentina. This significant milestone marks a nostalgic reunion for Paddon, who has been a prominent figure in the world rally scene, known for his skill and passion for the sport.

The i20 WRC car, played a pivotal role in Paddon’s career, symbolising not just a victory but a chapter filled with dedication. Rally Argentina was a standout event for Paddon, where he showcased his extraordinary talent and determination, finishing on the top step of the podium after a tense fight with Sébastien Ogier.

“I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to bring back the i20 WRC that gave me one of the most memorable moments of my career,” Paddon said. “This car represents so much more than just a vehicle; it’s a part of my journey in motorsport and the countless hours of hard work and passion that went into that win.”

To celebrate this exciting reacquisition, Paddon will be performing demonstration runs at select events such as the Ashley Forest Rallysprint, where fans will have the chance to see the historic car in action.
