A tachyon or tachyonic particle is a hypothetical particle that always travels faster than light. BYD welcomes the TACHYON; a cosmetically enhanced ATTO 3 Extended Range.
The all new ATTO 3 TACHYON is available in the Extended Range vehicle only. Incorporating the larger of the two Blade batteries – a 60kWh unit.
TACHYON operates from a single front-wheel-drive motor producing 150kW of power and 310Nm of torque delivering a 0 to 100km/h time in 7.3 seconds.
